Cunningham Group wins
Addy awards for ten clients

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Cunningham Group, a Montgomery-based advertising firm, took home numerous honors in the recent Addy Awards competition sponsored by the Montgomery Advertising Federation.

The annual competition recognizes outstanding creative, advertising and marketing materials produced for use in a variety of mediums.  A panel of industry experts selects the winners.

In the recent competition Cunningham Group won eight of the coveted Gold Awards and 11 Silver Awards.

"Winning an Addy is a tremendous honor because the level of competition is so high," said Bill Cunningham, president of Cunningham Group.  “Our work goes up against the best of the best so coming out on top tell us we’re doing our job for our clients.”

Cunningham Group won Addys on behalf of the following clients:

Lowder New Homes received Golds for its Woodland Creek advertising campaign; its 2007 TV commercial; its why-buy-now direct mail piece and its campaign promoting its neighborhoods.  Silvers were won for its Tour of Trees invitation and its sales sheets highlighting each neighborhood.

Cloverdale Oriental Rugs was recognized with a Gold for its work-of-art ad and Silvers for its business cards and magic-carpet ad.

Auburn Montgomery’s standard-of-excellence campaign won a Gold for billboards and a Silver for TV commercials.

Also given Golds were the parish profile for the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and a wedding invitation designed for Maria Dybczak.

Cited with Silver awards were the agency’s Christmas card, Robinson Iron’s basilica ad, the Alabama Retail Association’s membership package and television commercials for Eye Center South, Morris Cary Andrews and the Autauga County Family Support Center.
